Essential Oils and MRSA or Spider Bites
A few years ago my husband, Marc, got a small sore on his forearm that looked like a pimple. He popped it and didn't pay much attention to it until it started to swell and get red. It got worse and worse with more swelling. He didn't go to the doctor until his arm was red and swollen from his fingertips to his elbow. The doctor lanced it to open it up and release the infection. The doctor had to keep squeezing it to get more infection out (sorry so graphic). It was horrible and painful.
Marc went through two rounds of antibiotics and he went to the doctor about three times and each time the doctor kept squeezing more infection out, but it wasn't getting any better. A neighbor called and I told her what happened. She said she had some essential oils that might help. She brought over Lavender and a Purity blend. By this time Marc's arm was red and swollen from his fingertips to his shoulder and he had a quarter size open sore where the bite had been. We put both essential oils (Lavender and Purity) on his arm and within one hour the redness was gone and it started to heal. We were never sure if it was a brown recluse spider bite or MRSA, but we are extremely grateful for the essential oils that helped heal his arm. Essential oils are amazing.
